He has ripped this ground and done quite a bit of tillage prior to this year. Just one tillage trip this fall.

Untreated plants: close up of corn plants from an untreated area. Plants sampled revealed that manganese was the most deficient. Iron levels are very high and the pH is around 7 to 7.5 in this field.
